bar meals

    Can anyone reccommend somewhere for a nice bar meal tonight within a couple of miles of town centre.Was going to the Travellers at Dodworth but just found out they're not doing food tonight.Many thanks.

    Approx 6/7 miles out of town but...

    You can't knock the 3 horseshoes at brierley.

    This place is absolute quality for food...

    never heard anyone say anything bad about it, I have had a fwe from their, and to be honest, completely spot on. Prices are pretty good too...

    Can second that, lovely place. In Barugh Green. If you go up Huddersfield Road out of town, keep going and it's just off a roundabout.

    lundhill tavern is a decent place. can't go wrong with the Grille in Tarn.

    Agree Tavern Is Excellent

    We go there quite a bit. Used to be the Lundhill Tavern but has been done out quite nice.

    Bar meas are very good and reasonably priced.

    If it's a special treat book a table in the restaurant, your looking at around £20-25 each but it's top notch.

    Not a bad pint of guiness neither !!!
