Just had a look on the Barnet forum. They seem to rate him very highly, which obviously doesn't mean anything as he hasn't played 300 games in the top 2 flights. But the way they go on about Barnet as opposed to Barnsley is rather embarrassing; they make out that he'd be moving from Saint Tropez to, well Barnsley.

As one of them pointed out, £350k in these parts gets you a nice 4 bed house in Mirfield, in North London it gets you a 2 bed flat in a tower block.

Went to challenge cup last season and parked at Barnets ground as London broncos play there did a deal for rugby fans. Not sure barnets are place I would like to live

Just as embarrassing when you get Barnsley fans singing that awful "I want to go home" song.

I remember Leyton Orient fans saying what a $hithole Barnsley is when we were about to sign the anti-footballer Stephen Dawson.

I could have understood it had we been signing a player from Monaco or one of the Geneva clubs - but east London? Really?

As for Barnet - our away end is bigger than their stadium and the club bounces perpetually between the fourth and fifth levels. I don't know what the area itself is like, because they've never been good enough to compete at the same level as us in the two decades I've been watching football. And, football aside, visiting Barnet is as high on my bucket list as visiting, say, Shildon or Mevagissey.

The thing that strikes me is.. if we're in the market for a right-back.. which of the 2 we already have, will leave, Williams or Bree

Hes a wing back so I reckon he can cover all three roles down that side

Bree's a midfielder really, or at least, that's where I'd expect him to play this season if we do recruit another right back. Be a shame if we don't give Williams a chance this year. Looked oreight to me in the bits I've seen.

Do we need a Conference/lLeague 2 full back. Williams looks the part for me.

My daughter was born at Barnet Hospital. Barnet's pretty much like Barnsley, some good bits, some not so good. But spread out to London Borough of Barnet and the nice bits are very nice indeed. I lived in two bits of the borough. Hendon, not so nice, Mill Hill, very nice. Area around the footy ground is a bit grotty though.

Isn't Williams more of a wide midfielder or wing back than a full back? We do actually need a proper defensive RB.
