    So you remember the fourth division and being on the verge of doing an Accringtin Stanley...the dark days of the 70's...2-3000 crowds.....get real man.

    Yes but dont equate this to the state we were in then, theres no comparison...yes things are bad but we've seen alot worse mate.

    Realise that. Remember the Safest Manager in footballing History. Mr J Steele. He had more Ups and Owns than Chris Bonnington although I do remember J S had more Downs Just hope we can turn everything around and pretty sharpish too like the other 20000 or so fans that would flock back to OAKWELL.

    They wont flock back till the economic climate improves and the club stops charging way too much to get in on match days.

    Don't you think the gates would improve in line with the GAME improving. Dire isn't the word for the Overpaid Footballers that Barnsley appear over the past few years to be really good at acquiring A new manager would have to work with what he has at his disposal apart from maybe 2 really good Centre Backs. Where they are gonna come from tho is any bodies guess. Still. HOPE REIGNS ETERNAL

    Listen. I have lived in Hope since 1953. Seen the Reds play at THE MILLENIUM. OLD WEMBLEY. and NEW WEMBLEY how many of the other 92 Clubs supporters can say that. By the way OAKWELL is still the REDS SHRINE.
