Agreed...it's a shame that he's leaving

I can understand his reasons, but if anything happens to Muller...we're fecked.</p>

Despite all the stick he got, he was still a very decent keeper, and saved us on numerous times (of course including that penalty save)</p>

He can't go anywhere until January, unless on loan. We were discussing this at the match saying that the timing is strange, he could have kept quiet, who knows what would happen in next couple of months, injury to Muller perhaps or a loss of form, which would give Colgan the chance to reclaim his place and the fans would be impressed that he didn't moan about being left out. Would have thought just waiting til end of November before putting in a transfer request would have made sense.

Although it often seems different with keepers, maybe he'll be brought in somewhere as an emergency loan

 

It's pretty obvious Davey does't rate him

dropped him for Lucas last season, that'll be why he wants to go.

 

Disapointed With The Timing

It's not like he's been out of the team that long and he cannot leave permanently for a while anyway. Would have prefered him to have not handed it in and tried to win back his place. That said he needs to be playing at his age regularly and won't want to lose his place in the international squad. I will always remember him for his clean sheets in the promotion season and "that" penalty. I wish him all the best.

unlike Devaney, who has acted positive in order to get his place back. then again, Colgans 30 odd and nearly at the end of his career, so i can see some reasoning

Been very unhappy with his unprofessional approach since Muller arrived. Not training with him and not warming up is just ridiculous.
