Barnsley agree fee with Liverpool for Hammilll

    Simon Davey's desire to bring Adam Hammill permanently to Oakwell since the last day of the season has moved a step closer with Liverpool accepting an offer for his signature.

    Barnsley manager Simon Davey admitted that there was another club in for his services, but is confident he can persuade the Liverpool that his future lies at Barnsley.

    "Adam was loved by our supporters last season and the coaching staff really enjoyed working with him. I am confident we can convince him to come here.

    I don't understand why Davey keeps advertising the fact that we're trying to sign him

    After telling fans that posting information on targets on the internet is forbidden surely this action is very hypocritical
