Barnsley Archives?

I am curious about tracing old photo's particularly hotels and pubs. We have lost some impressive buildings in the past 40 years and replaced them with slums.
The Imperial hotel near the peel st. toilets spring to mind among many others.

If its not on here then it probably doesn't exist.
