Thats according to this months Racing Ahead magazine. When discussing the Championship, they say; "Southampton finished last season strongly and can kitck on from that by mounting a serious title challenge while Barnsley's days in the Championship are numbered" They tip: Southampton @ 10-1 to win the league. Coventry @ 9-1 to gain promotion Barnsley @ 13-8 to be relegated Blackpool @ 3-1 to be relegated. Barstewards.
Really so they are tipping no more than one relegated prem side to bounce back - thats unusual I'd have money on WBA before Coventy and Southampton its years since the side promoted via the playoffs went straight down - for some reason it hardly ever happens - automatic candidates much more likely and we are certainties based on what? - less worried this year than I was last season Have they tipped Leeds to bounce straight back as well?
I am thinking it will be even tighter at bottom this time. 8-10 teams will be battling it out down there this season.
I hope we can get off toa good start to take the pressure off a bit.

What odds did they have Leeds for last season.... considering they had just lost the Play Off final to Watford? And we all know the fate of them.
It says "Unsurprisingly, its big hitters Leeds (6-1) and Foest that bookies fear most but of the two, the latter makes more appeal @ 13-2 given Leeds financial insecurity and the time it may take for them to acclimatise to their new surroundings. TOP TIP: Forest @ 13-2 to win Millwall @ 14 each way to win. Bournemouth 5-2 to go down is "fantastic value" apparently. They also tip Bradford @ 12-1 for League 2.
RE: It says It's as much down to who the bookies think people will bet on, Leeds will have short odds because a lot of people will bet on them just by virtue of them being a "big club" so the bookies will give shorter odds just in case.
Can think of a few teams who will be struggling more than us. I'm happy to let all the bookies / tipsters doubt us, all adds to the satisfaction when we stay up again.
I'd like to post something about football. Ujpest came from behind to win 4-2 at Siofok. Top scorer Peter Rajczi steered Ujpest to a winning start with two goals in the closing stages after an adventurous home side had taken a 2-0 lead in the opening 20 minutes. Have that.
RE: weren't we fancied to go down start of 96/97 nt I wouldnt have thought so as we had been progressing in the previous couple of seasons.
RE: I'd like to post something about football. Sounds good, we should get him over here on trial to see if he can hack it in da CC.
CC? County Championship? Nice straight bat. High elbow. Cucumber sandwiches for tea ... as he'll be "hungary". Oh aye - Coca Cola & that. I think Rajczi will be a much better player than Istvan. Have that.
In fairness I went to watch Honvéd vs Vác in Budapest a few years ago. The pace was terrifyingly pedestrian. I felt like joining in. To picture me playing football, take how spacky I normally look, multiply it by 10 and then make me run like Nardiello. I wouldn't have looked out of place. That should give you an idea of how strong that league is. ----- Football really is ****. In Hungary.
Rubbish. The NB1 (currently called the Borsodi Liga) is the highest level of professional football in Hungary since its inception in 1901. UEFA currently ranks the league 24th in Europe. 24th in Europe? Fecking hell fire. The big teams have grounds which hold 12,000. Class. Dave Regis would've looked like Pele in Hungary.
good and really i can the see the point, we were shocking at the back last season and most of our signings are unkowns so makes sense that we would be tipped to go down
