    From council website:

"we’re pleased to announce that scheduled blue bin collections will start again from Tuesday 7 April."

Ive a feeling we won't ever get the green bin collections back. Lots of councils have introduced charges for them or dropped them altogether. This could just be the opportunity BMBC has been looking for.

No, still not collecting the green stuff yet. Hopefully they'll get back to those before too long. I'll try to keep an eye out for developments.

Why did they knock them on the head anyway? Too many bin men off sick?

Yes I think that was the problem it was some off sick some isolating and some high risk so be off longer term. Staffing levels will likely fluctuate. I'm currently isolating for 2 weeks as my little boy had symptoms. He had a fever and a cough for a day or so. He's been fine since but I'm now off work for 2 weeks.

I didn't know they'd even stopped collecting blue bins. Its good news though because its blue bin week this week for me and it is full.
