Just been down to renew my ST. The box office regularly come in for grief, and I have to say they were very helpful. Wanted to have a look at Preedy's (which isn't actually Preedy's during the week) and they happily went and got the keys to open it up for me. I know a lot of people talk about having a Supporter's Club. But in the absence of anything else (which would cost £££ to build and only get used c23 times a season), I think it's great. I know it's £20 and numbers are limited (elf n safety apparently), but it's all much needed money into the Club. Remains to be seen what the matchday experience is like next season, but it has to be better than the concourse and I want to spend my money at the Club, rather than in town. If you haven't seen it, at least go have a look..
Have to say I'm tempted by Preedy's but to get charged £20 each for the season, then be overcharged for a poor selection (apparently, only what's been said on here) isn't my idea of fun. I would rather the club have my money, watch the Sky live game with a beer or 2 thats reasonably priced and I'd be happy to subscribe. But then I guess many others would too.
Can't take kids in Preedy's so rules a lot of parents who want a pre-match tipple. Although some folk probably go there because of the no kids rule.
