Very disappointing for me. A great looking display on the cinema but very poor audio quality and general organisation meant that half the people couldn't see the stage if that's what it was because it was too far forward and too low down and most people couldn't hear a thing either.

Done better in the past. Also think it would be much better having everything on one night as a lot of people I heard were disappointed by the fact it appeared to just be the mayor talking and then a poem and time to go home.

Brilliant idea let down by poor planning.

Still amazing to see the amount of people putting the effort into going out for it. It shows that the money spent on the glassworks is money well spent and that there are a lot of people in Barnsley willing to support it, so independent traders and higher ups in larger retailers, get talking to the council and get into the town centre. People will come of you do.

Lastly, nudgers bridge is looking so good. Only 2 weeks or so to go now

Been down, must admit was a bit disappointed. Not seen much other than the Square switch on but it wasn't particularly engaging for my kids.

Organisation and quality of what BMBC are doing though can't be questioned IMHO. Brilliant turnout. Probably give tomorrow a go.

We've definitely got one of the best and most welcoming town centres in the north of England now in my opinion.
