Going from red to blue and white stripes.

Honestly its worse reading on here than pork talk post defeat.

a dose of realism is needed.

Granted its a bit **** at the moment but itll take more than six months and/or a change of manager to get that stench of defeat washed from the club.

itll be two year's at least before we make a push for promotion. Foundations need to be built.

The club doesn't have the cash to throw around like Southampton or norwich.

The club will follow the lines of sufc, mk dons, swindon, chesterfield etc

Which is fine if you believe that people will continue wasting their time and money watching the type of 'entertainment' on show last night, heaped upon what has been, quite frankly, several miserable seasons before that.

Well, they're going to have to in all honesty.

That's the twist, they don't have to.

No, they're not. They'll do what I'm doing and choosing which matches to go to. Or what my brother in law has done and stopped altogether. Between us we have the biggest part of 25 years as ST holders (plus taking our kids) plus regular attendance as non-ST holders. Losing fans like this will harm the club and make it harder to build it back up but they have to accept that they are in a competitive market for disposable income and people are finding alternatives.

To a large extent I can handle not winning if I'm being entertained. Similarly I can handle not being entertained if there's a decent chance of seeing a win. I have neither the time nor money to waste if there's no chance of a win or entertainment. I just can't justify it to myself or my family.

Having read a lot of threads on here recently it seems this is becoming a more common sentiment among contributors.

My dose of realism was at Swindon last Saturday, when I realised that I could be spending the day doing other things than paying a fortune to go and watch a negative, defensive, soul-destroying brand of football under a managerial dinosaur. Last night did nothing to sway me from that. I admire people's staunch defense of Wilson, but I've seen enough this season and last season to know that things will most likely not get better under his guidance.

    Been to one or two.

So ive seen enough to form an opinion.

But thats irrelevant as my point was we are starting to act and sound like those we despise.

So, this along with all the other replies, is going to help the club progress, how?
