    Best bet I ever had on Barnsley was £30 at 100/30 to beat Man Utd in that FA Cup Replay in February 1998. Fergie had indicated that drawing BFC gave him the opportunity to "play squad players" in the tie. Despite the hiccups (and the Schmeichel gift) in the first game, SAF didn't take the hint, and started the replay with callow youths like Wes Brown and Beckham at Oakwell. Winning's a habit, and mixed messages confuse players. So it proved. The Reds stole first run on their illustrious rivals - the rest is history!

    And the nailed on penalty that we should have had late on that would have won us the game had the ref not bottled it.
