I was listening to the Terry Christian on Radio Manchester yesterday and he had author Mark Hodkinson on. To anyone who doesn’t know who Mark Hodkinson is he is the one who wrote the book Life at the Top: Season in the Premiership with Barnsley FC which came out in July 1998. He was talking about his most recent book Believe in the Sign which is about him growing up in his home town of Rochdale. When he was asked about his previous books he mentioned how he much pretty camped in Barnsley when he wrote his book on Barnsley’s year in the Premiership. He following that up by saying that it is a weird place referring to Barnsley. Terry Christian unfortunately never asked what he meant by that and the interview moved on. I am just wondering if anyone out there has read anything about why Barnsley is a weird place to Mr. Mark Hodkinson.
Maybe things are better now we have wifi? Did he mean wired as in everyone is one edge? Not noticed that misen.
RE: Barnsley is a wired place according too ............ Trying to respond to your remarkable post is a little difficult. Has it been translated from French by any chance?
