Barnsley lack class, ambition and therefore will always be a 2nd class club.

Let's be honest, you're a small time club who have seriously lacked any progression in recent times. The fact that you consider marginally avoiding relegation a good season shows that a below average championship is your level, and it will remain that way for the forseeable future until you go down once again.

Why is this the case?

Well, for a start, let's look outside the football club and at the town in general. Face it, its a dump. Full of wasters on benefits and slack jawed un-educated no marks who spend a large amount of their dole money just attending matches. These people in barnsley do not deserve a football club. Even so, with surrounding city's such as Sheffield and Leeds, you will never improve on your pitiful 9-10,000 gates each week, not even filling half of your stadium. Its pathetic.

Despite this, you still manage to attract professional players to your club!? How? I don't know. Maybe by drugging them (wouldn't put it past your lot tbh). When donkey's like Odejayi (lol) lead your front line how do you expect to go anywhere? He's scored one flukey goal against Chelsea, which was more of a goalkeeping error than anything. But we have spent 1 million on a new striker!!!!!!!!11!!one!!!1! I hear you ask? Ian Hume... did nothing at leicester and was part of the worst attack in the league last season by quite some margin. So great signing there guy's.

I could go on, but why bother? This is probably the most your club has ever been talked about by another supporter, you should enjoy the fame. Just as you did with your astonishingly lucky cup run that will never happen again as long as your two-bob poor excuse for a club exists. get out now while you can, support some-one half decent like Sheffield Utd or Wednesday, maybe even Leeds.

There's nothing rushed about having no idea how to use an apostrophe. Although I assume that's what they'll be teaching you at school today.

Barnsley may not be as a big as the surrounding clubs but who cares, we support our club in thick and thin, unlike sheffield fans and leeds fans who always want success. That is dedication. That is loyality and that my friend, that is football!!

As for steriotypical view on Barnsley people, i am not going to argue that a few maybe on benefits, but isnt this the same all over Britain? In sheffield, many British people are without jobs due to Polish workers so dont come here saying that we are all on benefits. For you information, i am at university and so are a lot of my friends which is probably far better than what you can say for yourself!
