What you've got to ask yourself is, was it worth losing all credibility to tell us that? And don't try the our lass was watching it ****, we won't believe yer!
My wife watches it. I can't abide watching any programme which that pompous git Simon Cowell appears in , so I find something else to do whilst it's on. If there was a programme where you could get to vote for a well known personality to sing like "Who do you think you are" I'd vote for Cowell. I bet he's as flat as a fa*t. Can't stand anyone who has absolutely no talent at all , tearing somebody else who has a go , to pieces.!
so by your reasoning, Donny, then a huge amount of football fans should stfu also.If they have never played the game to any level then what gives the right to tear professional players to bits.
My opinion on X Factor DT. One man with no apparent talent sometimes saying really critical things about some people who in isolation, at least have the guts to have a go. Some are really bad, but there's a way of stopping them and offering positive advice without demeaning them. I played football myself a lot of years and realised that your ability to perform well on any given day could be influenced by how you felt in yourself that day, the opposition, the pitch, the ball, the referee, supporters, your boots you were wearing that day , the weather and the other members of your team. Knowing how hard it is to play the game to a good standard I never ever shout a derogatory comment or boo any of my own team. Like Cowell, I would love to be able to stop the game and put one of the critical fans on to see if they could perform any better. In my view, some people don't realise how hard it is to play the game and sometimes don't realise the effect that their booing and jeering can affect the performance and knock the confidence of their own players. David Moyles commented in yesterday's Mirror that a big factor in Sunderlands relegation last season was it got to a point that certain key players who were getting stick from home supporters, ended up feigning injury rather than play at the Stadium of Light and admitted along with others, they appreciated playing away more.
The saddest part for me reading the article was that as a result of their relegation, forty back office employees were made redundant. The fans have a right to be disgruntled if the team are not performing but abuse and physical threats are really beyond the pail for me. The American owner Ellis Short has put £300 million into the Club in the hope that they could maintain their Premiership status and its only when Moyes asked for funds to strengthen the team he was told that Short was not prepared to invest any more in the team. He had time remaining on his contract but decided to walk and opted not to ask for what was owed on his remaining contract. Grayson is apparently now saying, if he has known the true financial situation, he would never have taken the job. In such circumstances it's important that fans get behind the team and support them instead of booing and jeering them. That never ever helps.
Never watched it in my life. Anyone who thinks they will have a lucrative career in music off the back of it is deluded. It is everything that is wrong with what is perceived as modern music. (There is of course loads of great music that doesn't get touched in the modern media).
Perrie Edwards Jesy Nelson Jade thirwall Leigh-anne pinnock Louis Tomlinson Zayne Malik Harry Styles Niall horan Liam Payne Olly murs Leona Lewis Aston merrygold JB Gil Marvin Humes Oritse williams All multimillionaires, over 20 number ones between them and millions of records sold.
I've only heard of 2 of those on you're list and out of the 2 only one has a modicum of talent Leona Lewis
Jls, one direction and little mix. Three of the biggest British groups of the last ten years. Also you are mistaking releasing songs which you do not like for a lack of talent.
So out of Jls, Olly murs, little mix, Leona Lewis and one direction which three have you never heard of? Ps, no talent or simply not to your taste?
Sorry that reply confused me slightly. Are you saying that you have not heard of Olly murs or Leona Lewis or that you have only heard of them and have never heard of little mix, one direction or jls?
I've been researching the past winners of the X Factor on the internet. Of the 14 only three re- Leona Lewis , Alexandra Burke and Little Mix look to have ever had multiple Number One records. Two namely Shayne Ward and Alexandra Burke are now better known for other things. Steve Brookstein, Leon Jackson, Joe McElderry and Matt Cardle are rarely heard of now if at all. James McArthur still makes records and appeared on TV recently but Cowell has sacked Sam Bailey from his Syco label because she wasn't earning any "coin" and the last three winners Ben Haenow, Louise Johnson and Matt Terry all seem to have sunk without trace, in fact I've never heard of them. For me it's a tired, glorified karaoke show that needs consigning to the dustbin of TV history.!
I love Little Mix. Leona can belt a tune art. And McArthur is listenable. Good luck to the Barnsley lass.
Only two winners have had number ones records? Steve brookstein Shayne ward Leona Lewis Leon Jackson Alexandra Burke Joe mcelderry Matt cardle Little mix James Arthur Sam Hayley Ben haenow I think you mean only two HAVENT had number one records. 12 out of 14 have. 39 number one singles from X factor contestants. 25 number one albums.
People think of little mix and see the girly name and the revealing outfits and combine that with the fact they come from X factor and automatically assume they can't sing when in actual fact they can belt out a tune with the best of em.
