Seems an eternity since I saw some live music, going to walk into town about 2pm to see what's on offer, if anyone has a idea of where and when bands are playing, I would appreciate a little guidance.
The weather looks fair until tea time, hopefully it will be well attended.

I'm going to see Cubic at 2pm in Funny Gals. Mary Chain noise over 60s girl group beats. I like them, you may not.

If you have got a smartphone there is an app in the App Store called Barnsley Live. Full line up is on there including some links to some clips of the different artists so you can have a quick listen to see who you might like .

I am playing in the Courthouse at 5:30. If our last minute Thursday night rehearsal is owt to go by, you’re best off skipping it! Haha.

Definitely. My mate’s the drummer in band headlining Che Bar at 7.30 if anybody’s stuck for who to watch then. Sheffield band, Damian Luke and the Sweet Beast.

Despite being sandwiched between two thrash metal bands we went down pretty well! It was a good day.

Absolutely briliant, but who in there right mind decided a poxy little bar such as the Shambles was a suitable venue for the likes as Parson"s Lot , Mark Jackson, and System of a Down?

Unfortunately couldn’t get in Tarn until 4 o’clock, but 2 bands in particular I managed to see were Stellavision in the Digital Bar and the Rosadocs. Really enjoyed Stellavision they put on a great show. I made a point of watching the Rosadocs as I saw them at Oakwell that night when we played Sunderland in our promotion season and was impressed. Well they certainly didn’t disappoint tonight. I really enjoyed their set, great sound well done lads.
