This week marks the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the miner's strike. I've made a water colour painting to commemorate this event and in some way pay tribute to brave lads who worked in the industry and fought so hard for their jobs and communities. I hope people like it, especially the ex miners out there. I'm going to offer the painting to the new museum, but I'll also make a limited print edition if people are interested. It will be to the same high spec as the Oakwell one and will cost about a tenner. PM me if you would like one or email me if that's easier. - caton67@yahoo.co.uk
