    My mate just rang me asking if Barnsley have ever played on a Thursday afternoon and the game was televised.A bloke he is talking to is adamant the reds played Wolves on the above said afternoon.I've been watching Barnsley 40 odd years and I can't recall anything.Over to you.

    Nah bit of beer talk I think

    First game I saw on a Thursday was Ipswich away 1990-1. Due to a fixture pile up we played Sat Tue Sat Tue Thu and then played Sheff wed away two days later.
