Barnsley need to be more open

PC as requested a so called dossier for which Simon Davey has to come out and proove what he wants for the club. This Dossier needs to be made available for the fans.

While we are waiting we are missing out on some good signings I.e Darren Purse. Or we will end up with more foriegn drival. Yes some of his foreign recruits have been good, but the majority have been below par.

What we need to see is the club interact more with fans, be a bit more tactful in the marketing approach. We seriously missed a good money spinner with Mr T, could have sold some t shirts etc.

If Simon Davey stays on we need him to be more honest in his post match comments as he was very predicatable, when blatantly we performed poor his comments were, 'I thought we played well, things didn't go our way and we need to have more rub of the green' or blaming the referee in some case which were true but overall it was performances.

I will gladly support the team as I have done for the past 18yr. I get behind them I just feel the club should be more open to the fans.

I agree upto a point......

with regards transfer targets I understand the need to keep mum until the deal is done, but your comments about Davey's attitude after games and crap performances are spot on, McCarthy at Wolves told it as we all saw it if they were rubbish he said so and if they were good he said so, the honesty is the best policy approach from Davey may endear him to many disgruntled supporters, my own opinion is that the man is utterly out of his depth and the first 10 games of next season will be a defining period in his career.

why does the club need to be more open with the fans, why does the club have to run every internal matter by the fans. ...?

We are obsessed with what goes on internally and that the club shouldnt make any decision without consulting the BBS....signings, ticket prices, open days, colour of the away shirt, marketing, friendlies....

 

I didnt mention every internal matter, but stuff like the dossier is important to the fans, business things i dont see why not to keep them private and yes I agree with Rufus about transfer policy thats the best option secrecy until the deal is done
