I'm on mobile skin so can't see the poll but I want Holloway, don't think he is realistic though so Wilson for me.
Wouldn't it be a good idea to have a number of separate Yes / No polls on the main contenders. That way, we could see which contenders, if appointed, would be favourably received or not and to what extent. With this format, all we can see is people's first choice, which is all well and good, but there may be others on the list people would be happy with.
My heart says Redfearn, Heckingbottom, Hassell or Hignett - someone who played for the club and/or is a local lad. My head says Wilson is the logical choice (decent record etc). Just don't know. Still disappointed Flicker failed. Mellon not the answer for me, hope they don't go down that route (although I will feel for him losing his job around Xmas time).
Gone for Danny. It's a good match.. we couldn't get anyone much better than him (particularly looking at his record) and equally no one higher up the leagues would want him. Phelon could be really interesting but I don't think we have the type of budget he'd be after. I'd be very happy with Warnock but I think we should be looking more long-term (that is if he's only after a job until the end of the season). Phil Brown's a name usually mentioned with us who's not on the list - not many seem to agree but I think he'd be alright, always liked him. Doing a solid job at Southend, they're currently 3rd in the league.
I'm struggling to believe my eyes reading the results of this poll. All I can think is that I am truly thankful that us fans don't get to pick the manager.
Craig Levein. Not under contract wth anyone ATM so would only cost a wage. Pulled us out the brown stuff when it mattered.
It'd be interesting if we started again to see how many of those who voted Mellon would change their mind.
