    According to BFC facebook.

Going to be a tough three games.

Hopefully Etuhu will cover Dawson's absence, Delap/McNulty/Edwards will cover Kennedy and Foster's absence.

    I'd appeal Dawson's because isn't it a 3 match ban anyway?

Then again might need him at Hudders - maybe not worth risk.

Had we lost the appeal he would have got a longer ban.

Wrong decision for me. I wonder if flicker has been overruled then, or just had a change of heart? He as much as said they would appeal Dawson in the Derby press conference

I hope a decision like this is made by the manager and is given the backing of the club whatever his decision was.

Should have appealed dawson's red card like Peterborough did when Tomlin got sent off at Bristol, Tomlin played against us and they beat us, he still got banned afterwards, bend the rules for our own benefit

According to Twitter talk there was a chance the appeals could be done before Tuesday, so no guarantee that it would delay Dawson's suspension.

Assuming so, then the right decision IMO.

I hope the starting 11 tomorrow show more backbone than those behind the scenes have yet again.

I don't understand what we had to lose apart from 750 quid (and if we're that strapped for cash then I suggest the summer piss up in spain gets cancelled this year). It wouldn't have been extended because even if the FA disagreed with us on it being a red they wouldn't have considered it a frivolous appeal because there quite clearly IS an element of doubt.

When was the last time we appealed a red card? I can't think of one in recent memory.

The decision on the appeal would have been made before kick-off tomorrow, meaning Dawson and Kennedy would still miss the game.

The only way Peterborough got away with it was because it was a bank holiday.

Correct decision. Way too risky seeing as both cards were unlikely to be overturned.

Why so? A frivolous appeal is one where the FA decide that the club never thought it had a chance of winning the appeal but did it anyway as a delaying tactic. It is clear from the replays that there is a doubt as to whether it is a red card or not so there is no chance of it being a frivolous appeal. At worst we would have lost the appeal and had to pay 750 pound (0.9% of the money we paid out to directors last year. Oh and we only have one paid director)

What is the risk in challenging a borderline decision (dawson) exactly?

If BFC appealed and lost, Dawson would miss the Huddesfield game too, is that right? In fact he wouldn't play again this season. Take the ban and have him available for the last match, which is looking more and more crucial.

Well done BFC, tough but correct decision as usual. Don Rowing rules!!
