Normally the opposing manager would try and take something away from us with an excuse - for example, Ian Holloway after we had beaten Plymouth fair and square

thought the host was a dick when he said to Burley that his result on saturday was a shock. Nobody it seems respects us or gives us credit.

but...

...what annoys me is they would probably call any away win by a barnsley "a shock".

They talk of Bristol City having a fantastic start, if we were in there position it would go completely unnoticed

Further to this, sky only seem to televise us the minimum amount of times, i'm guessing there is a contract which states we have to be on three times in a season or something but the games they choose mean absolutely nothing.

I remember going back to the wembley year, both the bolton/ipswich games were on TV but our away game (another shock win) was not...then as it panned out the return leg was fairly academic.

anyway, it's been pretty much like this for as long as I can remember so we'll have to just get used to it.

 

I think Colchester got mentioned for having a surprise great start

Based on last year, I don't think it's unfair for people to look at us and expect us to struggle, especially away from home</p>
