    Doesn't seem so far-fetched now?

Two struggling clubs - not a decent manager between them.

50,000 seater stadium in the Dearne Valley - here we come!

We will all be wiped out by a plague of locusts before that will happen.

The two clubs put together couldn't fill at 25000 seater never mind a 50000.

Well I certainly wouldn't go to watch that club. My connection is with Barnsley and Barnsley Football Club not with anything to do with Donny.

Nor would I. I support Barnsley FC, if that no longer exists then I wouldn't just switch to this new team, just as I wouldn't find a new team if BFC was liquidated. It would be an opportunity to stop wasting money on watching it. I won't stop while ever there is a BFC. If they are no longer then I wouldn't bother following a team. I am sure most other Barnsley fans would feel like that, as would Donny fans. I honestly think the new club would struggle to attract a core of 5000. It may grow, but it may not get the chance if it is struggling from day 1.

No I wouldn't either and I dare say most of the pikey fans would feel the same as Barnsley fans.

And a 50,000 seater stadium is a joke. There'd be around 40,000 empty seats which would look ace.
