Is there anywhere I can look at the team lists from the past?

I've tried that but it doesn't go back as far as I'd like unfortunately.

 

There's a book by Brian Dennis, John Daykin and Derek Hyde "Barnsley Football Club. The Official History 1887 - 1998.
At the time of publishing the cost was £21.95 (324 pages.) .... there should be a few thumbed copies knocking about if you advertise. Published by Yore Publications, 12 The Furrows, Harefield, Middx. UB9 6AT
