On the subject of BFC themes & songs, I might try 'n record my 'The Tykes Are Going Up' anthem, if I get time tomorra. Would anybody be able to host it for me so that I could post the MP3 link on here?
RE: I'll host it if it's less than about 5MB. Cheers mate. I might have a spare half hour in the morning, so I'll probably give it a go. I'll send you a PM if I manage to get it recorded.
Composed by Aaron Copland in 1942 Rocked up & released by ELP in 1977..version played at t'well.
Best tune ever. Made the hairs on my neck stand on end.

RE: Composed by Aaron Copland in 1942 Aye it were brill didn't need to hype the crowds up in those days !!!
Wasn't the original just called 'fanfare' or is the old mind slipping ?
Dave

RE: Fanfare for the common man I have my doubts that this piece is the intro played before Cocoon. Here is a link to fanfare for the common man, which is certainly different to our intro. http://members.tripod.com/scott_mcgonigle/midis.htm
