I can only see a Barnsley win, if we play well we will win the game. Then its get on a run and kick some ass time
Fingers crossed for Satdi. The one positive about failing to earn a point is that teams will come to Oakwell looking for a win... we have always fared better with more open games
I actually think we'll beat Derby on Saturday. A narrow win. Only basing my judgement on the law of averages and the fact that surely no team is bad enough to just keep on losing. Something has to come right eventually. Although, as Derby haven't won for yonks too then maybe the law of averages will work in their favour. **** knows. (doh)
I fancy this one as a home win, was the only fixture out of our opening games that i thaught we could win. I think weve played well just individual mistakes which you carnt really blame the manager for have cost us. if we cut them out and keep creating the chances i see no reason why we carnt beat derby.
I do, remember Derby are playing Barnsley, and if any team who have not won a game for over 12 months and their next game is against us are more or less guaranteed to turn us over. I hope we do win, but looking back in history we always let the underdog break their duck at Oakwell, Fact.
RE: Can you list the last few occurrances nt Stand out one for me was Chesterfield at home, last game of the year (December) a few years ago. They'd not won away for the full year, we rolled over they tickled our tummy and took 3 points. I think our home form at the time was reasonable too, unbeaten IIRC.
I think its going to be our first win ...and ONLY a WIN will do.. A draw aint good enough and a Loss is unthinkable..if we do lose I do think the board will have to take a serious view of matters.
