I've had a season ticket in there for years, up to and including last season but not last season. Last year it worked out at about £38 per game, without food, but including a seat inside, programme, car parking space and coffee/tea and biscuits at half time. I didn't think it was that bad considering the comfort and other issues like pre-match and post-match speeches, man of the match presentation, bar etc. This year the club changed it so that the price included a pre-match meal as standard and put the price up substantially. There was an option to renew at last year's price with no meal, but you had to sit somewhere else, not in the Legends where all my mates were. I also miss far too many matches to make it worthwhile, so I didn't renew, intending to pay on a match by match basis when I was around, depending on weather etc. I don't want a pre-match meal - any sustenance consumed pre-match is usually liquid. I now find that I'm being asked to pay £90 for the same facilities as last season, plus a meal that I don't want, to watch league 1 football. Sorry but I'll sit outside and pay my £24.
