No football played..............although the swirling wind has again played an important part in losing us 2 points No atmosphere in the ground...............neither set of supporters really up for it Nill..........................foooking Nil
No atmposhere? I thought the noise from inside the Ponty was pretty good in the main, the only thing that restricted the atmosphere was the quality of the game. I didn't hear too much noise from the Wednesday fans, but that would be mainly due to our own singing. It was a pretty grim event on the whole though
I sit near the half way line in the west upper and I thought both sets of fans made a good bit of noise, possilble the reds fans just nugging it are way. Well done to all in the Ponty
Thought the fans did very well considering the fact that there was chuff all to get excited about on the pitch.Strong winds so we insist on trying to hit high balls instead of trying to play short balls on the ground, strikers looking more inept (hardly ever shoot and when they do the execution is woeful)than ever can't blame the conditions because theirs did better in the same conditions.Players being played out of position despite other players who regularly play in positions being available. At least the defence did well. Could go on but quite frankly was gutted by that performance today as yet another local derby passed us by
Thought The Match And Atmosphere.......... were as poor as when 20k poor sods had to sit through that dire 0-0 with them the other year.
Given the conditions, that fact its a local derby and that we usually get nowt from the Blue n' White bacon, I'll gladly take the point.
So was I And I agree with you on the noise I thought the atmosphere was much better than normal and despite the wind blowing most of the singing away it certainly wasnt libraryesque
There was a good "domestic" when I walking home... A young lass attempting to beat the hell out of her boyfriend and (seemingly) accusing him of sleeping around...
'Wendy only get "up for it" versus United' Oh, they were up for it all right. They always are, that's why they nearly always beat us. The thing is, even they can't hurt us when their shots at goal are caught in the wind and end up in the hot dog van.
