I've just seen on twitter that we played Bohemians (Prague) on Wednesday 26th February 1969 7.30 kick off.
I'm quite sure I would have been there but struggling to recall the events.Anybody go to the match and have sufficient memories of the game.?
The Kangaroos is Bohemians nick name.

I went Bri but am struggling to remember owt n'all. Throwing me with the date though. Would have thought it was a pre season friendly. Sure there'll be summat in the programme or one after. Remember seeing the programme in my collection
Got it in my head we thrashed em.

I was there, but can’t remember much about it. Think I have the programme somewhere. Did the play in green?

Per Hooky’s note, don’t think we thrashed them though. Think that was Gudja United of Malta three or four years later - wasn’t that 16-0?

Noticed the old Town crest , (minus the shield) on the programme

Seems it wasn't a football match, but a government experiment after which they erased everyone's memory. Either that or pixies.

I didn't go, so remember nothing (other than the score) from the match. I did go the friendly against Hearts Of Oak, who we beat 10-1, Tel Aviv which we won 2-1 (and played in blue) and the one against Gudja United, which we won 16-0.

This appears to be a common thing on this forum.

The team bus arrived during the day and parked outside our house on Grove Street for ages with the players on board. As a football mad 7 year old I got all the autographs !!
Might be wrong but seem to remember one of the players was Panenka (of penalty fame)

Clearly not committed, missing the Bohemians match. :)

Hearts of Oak were from Ghana. And it was Hapoel of Tel Aviv.

My late Mam refused to let me go to a friendly on a school night. We didn't have a car at the time and it'd have meant getting home late had we taken the bus. When my Mam said no, it meant no. It wasn't up for debate. :D

I hope in years to come, I have zero recollection of this season, but am still in good enough health to post on here asking if anyone else remembers.

I can't remember whether I went to the game or not. If the game actually took place.

I'm already there. I vaguely remember something to do with Quinoa, Flatbreads, Bhajis, Chops, Kitchens and Freezers. I think we must have opened a restaurant or summat.
