Anyone else absolutely looking forward to the match today? Seems like it's been a decade since the last home game! I think Mark Robins will be good for the club from what I have seen and heard of him so far, looks like he's not afraid to do something different with the team which I think was much needed under Simon. Any predictions for the result? I think we could be in for a promising win...

Only one a piece?! I think there might be a few more goals to be honest, though I think I'm hoping we've turned a corner. Still waiting for Big Daz to hammer home a header that rips the nets in half, lol...

Easy win for us, cannot see them scoring at all, plus I have put £100 on for a win as well. :D

    I'm looking forwards to it

Finally decided last night to make the long treck up even though I cant spare a whole day - leaving in a few mins

The performance at Derby was the thing that decided it at the end - and a couple of decent loan signings - had we played at Pride park with as little passion as we did at Watford I wouldnt have bothered.

Based on years of supporting Barnsley though I fear that we will get a bigger crowd with lots of people coming to see the new Manager and boosted by the midweek win, so we will lose - hope I am wrong

Reckon we need to score 3 again if we are going to win

Prediction somewhere between 1-2 and 3-2 so we will go for 2-2

(Bet its 0-0 now after that)

RE: I'm looking forwards to it

I can't see us keeping a clean sheet, mainly because we've let in so many poor goals so far, but I think Gray looks like a good finisher up front so I think a couple of goals at least. Hopefully the other Gray will be some much needed left-sidedness to give us a boost. Should be a good atmosphere at home with Robins' first home game, let's hope we can climb a few places after this avo...

Hopefully not but I know what you mean,if I'm ever more than excited than usual about a match we usually lose, though there are exceptions like Chelsea and the play off final!

    And the derbies recently

Last season we didn't lose many of the 'big games' that get fans excited about. Just loads of the other games.
