    He was quality - chunkiest legs I've ever seen on a footballer. Was gutted when he was injured against Chelsea - was never the same player again

    Met him at Ardsley House once. I'm 6'01 (which I don't think is that tall these days) he seemed small like a child. Not just short, but physically small. It made me wonder how on earth he could compete in professional football at all.
