trying to over charge me by £50, told em to get stuffed I'm not paying it. Only to be told I cannot be disconnected for another 30 days, and so will receive another bill and also I will be taken to court if I dont pay them the said £50 (wnkr)
was over charged last month for Sky sports which I only had for 1 month, added sky movies for the xmas period, charged me 2 months for that
I believe they do... i'm with Virgin and think they charge a month in advance, to try and prevent people from just adding stuff for 1 month at a time.
RE: I believe they do... Thats what i was gonna say And im surprised that they let you put em on for just on month
I've got the XL package, phone and broadband Last month bill was same as normal - this month I have been charged an extra 11 quid for half a month's use what's that all about?
Had a similar thing with sky, when I wanted to end my contract, they wanted me to pay for two months due to the 30 day notice(why it's 30 days is beyond me, its takes a second for them to disconect you, but 30 days for you to disconect from then (dunno) ) , anyway I binned em and haven't paid for tv since.30/40 quid a month so they can ram adverts down your throat every ten minutes... no ta... robbin' fekers... ( </p>
They've messed me about and are charging me for a property I left in summer despite me cancelling and going through the correct procedure. I gave them my address in Korea and told them I was moving there and they could chase me there for it... They're ****.
Big companies have too much power these days Contracts that suit them. Unrealistic and unfair terms and conditions you have to sign up to. Would they sign our terms and conditions? Would they ****. "I'm sorry sir but that's against our company policy." What does that mean? Sod all, that's what. They use it to justify all sorts. What about our personal policies to do otherwise? Lengthy cancellation policies (I believe Setanta has 90 days). How can they justify this? Direct debit, automatic renewals, billing in advance... it goes against basic consumer rights. Yet they're allowed to do it because it is perfectly legal. We're individually too small to matter to the big companies and the legal system won't look after us. It's a scandal I tell thi.
RE: Big companies have too much power these days never in the 15 years plus I have been with them has a contract been signed by me or my wife, **** em let them take me to court for the 50 quid
amazing what women can do wife came home and rang Virgin, now gone from the money they said I owed em to £44 credit next month (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y)
