    Anyone bought them online?

    Am I being thick?

I am logged in, and I appear not to be able to buy 'my' seat in the East Stand, but I can buy tickets in the North stand.

    Anyone had any luck?

possible I suppose, just seems unlikely. That said, I didn't realise the ora was shut until 2 minutes ago.

They didn't give people any time at all to reserve their usual seat. Not even a day.

That's ok then, as long as I know. But it did let me check tickets in the north stand!

In addition, I'm a little surprised I am not able to add them to my season ticket card ..... or phone

EDIT : Tell a lie, I can save it to my phone. #YouReds

They're operating ticket sales on a trust system, where both Barrow and Barnsley supporters are buying them through the BFC website.

Essentially, they've requested that Barrow fans purchase tickets in the North Stand and Barnsley fans in the East Stand. I'm not sure if they're doing any checks on postcodes, etc but there's nothing to prevent anyone buying them wherever they choose.

I doubt that there's a huge risk of crowd trouble, given the likely low attendance, but I don't recall us ever selling tickets this way previously, which is presumably down to the lack of time available from when they were put on sale.

Presumably because the East stand is the only one open?

I will be paying on the gate and hoping that my normal seat is free. Booking in advance is a bit optimistic with the current state of Covid. I would not attend a fixture rearranged for midweek.

My main concern is that I want to sit in the seat I have pre-booked (which is my regular seat) It matters not how many are there or how many spare seats there are, if some ignorant person is sat in my seat they will be told in no uncertain terms to move.

Has anyone chosen to boycott this game?

Can't see their being any more than 4000 for this.

People who pay on the day will be given a seat number and expected to sit there.

Some of the young folk from the ponty end might wnt to congregate together regardless of seat number which might cause a problem.

pay on the day is always a risk if you want to sit together. It will be quite possible if they book tickets in advance though... but I do see your point.

That’s the theory, but as I’ve witnessed at away matches, there are people that want to sit in groups that don’t have seats together. They simply sit together and expect the person who’s seat they are sat in to sit elsewhere. Seen trouble a few times because of this.

Youve only prebooked it for this match if youve bought a ticket for this match.

Heavy rain forecast all day Saturday. Don’t think I’ll bother making the trip.

    Sprinklers will be on though.
