Can't He Stay At 1 Club :D

Barry Conlon has been told that his contract at Mansfield will not be extended in the summer.

Conlon has scored five goals in 15 games since joining The Stags on a short-term contract from Darlington in January.

However, Mansfield boss Billy Dearden admits he has not been convinced that Conlon has enough to offer the club in the future and will not offer the 28-year-old a new deal.

"I have had a chat with Barry and said to him at this moment in time there will be nothing for him here," Dearden told the Nottingham Evening Post.

"When he was brought in it was on the understanding that it was until the end of the season.

"It was only ever going to be long-term if he did the business for me out on the pitch."
