Felt for the poor bugger. Having to do the work of him and Adam Phillips today and not exactly given much support from Williams either who was like a headless chicken
He did well considering he had Norwood slathering at him all first half. He was made in to a bit of a scapegoat. Williams popped over on one occasion.
I thought Cotter was great. Disappointed to see him subbed, cos he looked like he could create something.
He was horrendous defensively. Much improved that second half though. Going forward he looks fantastic but 3 times in space of 5 minutes he went in for the challenge, at the wrong time, and missed it leaving a 2 on 1 against Williams. Duff did right bringing him off - thought Benson did well when he came on. That first cross was unreal for tedic
Yet the first half I thought he was all over the place. Positionally about 20 yards behind where he needed to be. No doubt there's some talent there, but he's got a lot to learn. Which isn't a bad thing.
A bit like Williams, he looks great going forward, but leaves a lot to be desired defensively. Which exposed Williams in the first half in particular. Peterborough identified that side as our weakness for sure.
Its near impossible for 1 player to cope with 2 opposition players at once though. Its so unfair to single Williams out for that. I will say Williams was really poor on the ball/when in position but Kitching and Thomas both at fault for the goals, not Williams
He gave them too much space in the first half. No wonder they were all having a go at him, justified. He has to learn quickly or play him further forward.
