Have we now got the playing personnel for an effective 3-5-2 (or 3-4-3 even), a la the Promotion season?

Come back Matty Appleby - all is forgiven!! :pff

Not sure comparisons with the promotion winning squad are in order but they looked reasonably comfortable with that formation. Would that formation work against a set of cloggers though ?

    Good Management

Have to say it was a good piece of management.

Up until the switch, we had been getting murdered in midfield. PNE brought on Dichio to go 4-3-3, and Richtea countered by going to 3-5-2. Very risky, but we took control of the game then, forcing PNE to take off a striker to bolster their midfield.
