.............because MOST people in Britain want a right of centre Government, but one that is not managed by Eton educated 'born to rule' toffs.

Hence that is why Tony Blair was so successful.

Farrage - public school educated ex banker

do you think that raising taxes for the lower paid , lowering taxes for the rich , looking at privatising the NHS , repeal of workers rights etc etc is what people want ?

Its not really what people want that's important...........its actually what's good for the country

    Lets go through these........

Firstly..........my dad is a miner.........he has three grandchildren..........all were privately educated.

I agree with lowering taxes for all groups.........for a start taking the minimum wage earners out of tax altogether.
Also like to see lowering the highest rates of tax to the lowest level possible.........this will encourage more high flyers to live and work in this country.
It doesn't matter to me if bankers are earning £1 million per day..........because the money they earn through banking will benefit all the people in society and keep London as the financial capital of the world.

There's a lack of accountability in the NHS and that can only come through ownership.
The NHS is a complicated business but they seem to do it better in some countries in Europe..........the NHS needs reforming and taking it out of Government control.

Repeal of workers rights is vital if we are to achieve a vibrant economy where managers can hire and fire staff to meet the needs of the company. This will ultimately generate more jobs..............the last thing this country needs is employment laws like they have in France.

    Astounding!

Lets take these one by one.

Taxes - taking minimum wage people out of tax, good move and one that has only been achieved by having the Lib Dems pushing for it, UKIP want a flat rate of tax which means that someone on minimum wage would be paying the same percentage of tax as someone on £1m, in fact they'd be paying more because the person on £1m would still be finding the loopholes.
The reason why you have a progressive system of tax is because the more you make, the higher the amount of disposable income. Someone on minimum wage is using all their income to get by on, to buy food, utilities etc.

NHS - agreed it's not ideal and does require reform, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Healthcare should not be under private ownership, to make it a "for profit" business is just completely immoral.

Repeal of workers rights - I'm just aghast at that one. We are already seeing this with the growth of zero hours contracts.

Must say young nudger intrigues me,who is he and what kind of business is he in, all I can gather about him is that he is some kind of gentle giant at well over 6 feet who used to work in the mines.

    Amazingly I agree with mrx.

You have posted some crap in your time but this surpasses it all.

And there is only one reason ukip is successful....immigration.

Re: Amazingly I agree with mrx.

From what I can gather people seem to be jumping on the ukip immigration band wagon without looking past it and the policies these cowboys are looking to implement.

It will be to late by the time people realise......

Almost right and based on a distorted view generated by some sections of the press. Personally I don't agree that the UK has a real problem with immigration and am sure that the majority of immigrants are a benefit to the economy and culture but even if I did think Immegration was our biggest problem I could never vote for them

I find it bizarre that a large number of UKIP voters conveniently ignore the fact that UKIPS policies are well to the right of the Tory party. Once you get past th e "likeable bloke" image Farage presents you find someone who makes Thatcher look like a Liberal

Besides all their policies, they do not vote on ANYTHING in Europe apparently. So, taking aside everything else, they are a complete and utter waste of everyone's money.

If you want a protest vote, why not vote green?

Successful? As a protest vote can you actually imagine the tossers in power. Their success is based on appealing to people's base instincts to the fear of the 'other'. We are all racist and full of prejudice to one extent of another. They just exploit this.

Each UKIP MEP will receive £88000 a year for the pleasure of standing in Europe where they don't want to be....... Hypocrites of the highest order and how people can't see through the image he seems to be portraying of himself this Farage bloke is just beyond me.

Also people saying my vote wasn't a protest I voted for them because I like their policies on immigration are just being ridiculous. Running a country is about more than just 1 in my opinion flawed policy it's about running a country as a whole not selling things off to private investors and sitting back while theirs chaos on the streets when he poles Romanians and whoever else they pick on decide to stand up for themselves.

I never thought I'd say this but I'd rather vote for the Tories..........And that would make me feel sick.

They are scroungers of the worst type. They take the money and don't do the job they are elected to do.

They will do more harm to the economy by not getting involved in the EU.
