I know there is no guarantee if we go down that we will challenge for promotion the season after.

But just out of thought what would everyone on here prefer.

Stay in Championship another season and go to each game expecting to lose.

Or going to each game next season in League 1 with optimism.

And before everyone says look at Coventry ,donny, preston etc .

But if you could guarantee a promotion challenge next year what would everybody prefer.

I'd stick with the Championship thanks. The standard of football in League 1 was markedly poorer, and I wonder if people have forgotten how bad it normally was. Either that or winning is the be all and end all. I suspect the latter.

If I could go Back 7 years and be responsibility free, and be guaranteed a season like we had when we got to Cardiff with the end result and the alcoholic blur after I'd like to repeat that every year until I die thanks.

I can see both sides of this.

Every season is a struggle in the championship and i dare say if we went down and started winning games we would get better attendances then what we are getting now. Which shows to me that people prefer to go when we are winning no matter what division we are in. £28 a match currently and fans are going to the match expecting to lose. Surely thats like buying a car and expecting it to break down every week.
