    ...that IF they go into Administration this season, and finish outside of the relegation places, the points deduction will be NEXT season.

    WTF is all that about? That's not the Football League rules as far as I am aware of it!

    They've got it arse about tit. If they finish in the relegation places it will be next season, if they're out of the relegation places it will be this season.

    My understanding was if it's after the 4th Thursday in March then it takes effect the next season

    What they mean is that if they go into administration once they are sure the points deduction won't affect their season, i.e. If they are already down or if the points deduction doesn't put them into the relegation zone at the end of the season, the deduction will take effect from the start of next season. This is to stop teams waiting until they know they will be safe or are already down before going into administration.

    If they go into administration this season and end up finishing in the bottom three they will most definitely go down.

    It was Leeds' last administration that made them change the rules. Crooked club.
