the Tahiti lads were being totally praised by the Brazilian crowd...they were about to go out and soak up all that praise..it would have been a fantastic thing to have seen...much like a lap of honour after a major cup win..but what did the Beeb do..cut to Robbie Cabbage and Pat " big nose" Nevin...great stuff BBC ...you complete W A N K E R S
Damn. Missed the chance to see a shocking football team patronised by neutral supporters purely for turning up.
They cut away from an interview that was about to be conducted in a foreign language. I don't know about you, but I'd rather listen to people speaking in English, even if it is Robbie Savage. You've probably made enough pointless threads for one day.
We have no control over host pictures; we stayed with the scenes as long as we possibly could, knowing the host broadcaster would be cutting to the flash interview pitchside any second. As blivy said, unless you're fluent in Spanish or Tahitian, it might have looked a bit odd. Epic fail.
Agree with all of that Micky, but even you surely can't defend Robbie Savage's ubiquity. More irritating than genital warts and more ubiquitous than chlamydia in the under 25s.
Except that FIFA for once are a bit more professional than that and don't leave the production of TV pictures for their globally lucrative product to chance and "dodgy brazillian TV broadcaster" but instead use a proper independent sports production company who provide feeds to all broadcasters including those in the host nation. Edit. - just to say they may still have been about to cut away to a Portuguese language interview all the same.
