Cos of previous 'gardening' related mentions and coz football and BFC makes my pis5 boil I thought I'd ask. Coz lets be fair I'd prefer to graft for a day on mine rather than trudge to Well recently.

9-5 on mine tmoz. Like Dolly Parton with a spade! Got some ducks ont way so need to get sorted!

Yes. I'd post a picture of our prize carrots from this year. Huge.

But not sure if my dad would let me as he's holding them....

I'm an expert in the Melon department.

The key is lots of **** in the soil to aid the growing process.

We will admit. We have tried different ways for 4 or 5 years. We tried different again this year. And it took us by surprise when we pulled them out.

    Think we have cracked it.

Proof next year. Try the same. Hopefully same again :)

Impressive! Wow! Better than my poor efforts this year. I like growing but scaling down a bit and 2/3 is next year going to be birds.

It's near the bus turnaround in Houghton. You need to know the area to know where it is because it's up a mud track beyond the bus stop.

    Ducky as it's known locally

They should chop all the big plots in half and rent them out as two allotments, in sure most are too big for a lot of people to manage on their own

Mine is 1/2 of what it was originally.

BUT! Those on Burton Rd/Wakey Rd junction just opposite Wickes are 35% occupied! There's space if ur dedicated and willing.

Compared to relatively new plots what are created these days it's a fair size.

Cos we both work we struggle with time and we would certainly struggle if it was just one of us.

Dad retires in a few months so that will help lol.

If only some smart arse could develop a weed killer that didn't affect what you grow they would be a billionaire.

    We can dream :)
