Sometimes results matter more than performances. A tense first half followed by a better second one saw us home against a determined Fleetwood team
Comfortably Phillips. Set up both goals and could have had 4 or 5 assists with better finishing from others
Phillips has made his place in the team unquestionable again, which is a good sign as it means we're getting results. 2 more assists, and it seems that he's on for a more productive season this year than last, despite not hitting any sort of form until November.
Phillips > Earl > MDG > the rest Awful pitch, battling against the elements and an opponent that played better than their standing suggested they would. One of those games where it has to be ground out rather than won by outplaying the opponent. Not the kind of game I usually expect Phillips to be the stand out performer in but he got two assists and did a lot of defensive work.
Sticky now update. Not many changes affecting the top of the table but strong performances from Phillips and Earl in mid table.
