I'm always up for joining anything football related but I literally have no idea what I'm meant to do. Is this basically Last Man Standing?
I don't think I'll have time, just had my Universal Credit interview and I'm supposed to spend 35 hours a week searching for jobs.....
just pick team you will think will score most goals tues/wed then next round saturday, do not post till draw announced though
Good luck with the job search. I hated being on the dole after my money ran out. I was lucky I got a pay-off from Haribo and then won a fair bit on the horses that lasted me about 8 months. In fairness I wasn't looking for a job until the money ran out. Then it got really bad, so bad I was drinking bottles of cheep cider every night.
Go on then, I'll have a go. What do we do pick one team per round - and it's like a knock out cup competition?
To be absolutely honest, I don't want a job, I'm 65 in March, which for most of my life, was my retirement age - until they moved the effing goalposts a few years ago.... I have some income from my 2 occupational pensions and my partner gets her state pension so I think we could manage. I made the UC claim on the basis that I've contributed fully through my life by paying all my tax and NI and only ever had benefits for a few months in 1982. I also feel that me getting a job is depriving somebody younger and maybe more in need than I am from getting it. I might just cancel the claim, I don't know.
