The Challenge is to create a first team squad of 16 players of players currently plying their trade in League one and below that you, in your own opinion would compete at Championship level. You have a Budget of £6.5M excluding wages. The squad must have two Goalkeepers and three players under the age of 24. You must show your workings for each player and if you can, why you chose them eg Championship expirence etc etc. Mine would be First Choice Goal Keeper - Joe Murphy Scnuthorpe- £500,000 - Highly rated Keeper. Good enough for the championship. Back Up Keeper - Chris Dunn Northampton Town - £150,000 - Young keeper with the potential to play at a good level. Already being watched by peterborugh and Leicester. Left Full Back - Marcus Williams Scnuthorpe - £300,000 - Left Footed left Back who is better than his current playing level. Centre Back - David McCracken Wycombe -£300,000 - read good reports about him from both his time in Scotland and Wycombe Right Back - Lewis Hunt Wycombe - £300,000 - Always looked decent against Barnsley when playing for Southend. Can play in midfield and at Centrehalf. Centreback - Chris Coyne - Colchester - £500,000 - Was highly rated at Luton, seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth! Left Midfield - Mark Yeates - Colchester - £750,000 - Goal Scoring midfielder. Creates a few too. Centre Midfield - Derek Niven -£300,000 -Centre midfielder who can run pass and shoot as well at tackle. Centre Midfield - Johnnie Jackson- Colchester - £500,000 - lost his way a bit, bags of potential Right Midfield - Albert Adomah - Barnet - £250,000 - Fast. Can cross, can shoot. Can dribble. Striker - Simon Cox - Swindon - £500,000 - Scores loads of goals in a **** team Striker - Troy Deeney - Wallsall - £750,000 - young and talented. Striker - Adam Le Fondre - Roachdale - £300,000- Scoring for fun and has the talent to play at a higher level. Left Full Back - Dean Lewington - £750,000 - Consistantly good fullback Defender - Zak Whitbread - £750,000 - rated as one of the best Centrehalfs in League 1 Midfielder - Anthony McNamee - £250,000 - Pace to burn, very similar to JRC, unpolished diamond, can play on both wings.
