BARNSLEY FC are delighted to announce that the Club will be holding a very special Official Tenth Anniversary Dinner, sponsored by Treadles and Durty O'Dwyers, to celebrate the Reds promotion to the Premiership back in 1997.</p>

This very special event will take place at The Ardsley House Hotel, Ardsley, Barnsley, on Tuesday April 24, 2007 - just two days prior to the tenth anniversary of the Reds historic victory over Bradford City which secure promotion to the top flight of English football.</p>

Hosted by MC Malcolm Lord, the evening will see the Reds 1996/1997 promotion squad reunited for the very first time in a decade together with management and coaching staff from a year to remember. There will also be a special auction of items from the 1996/1997 promotion season as well as memorabilia from the present day at Oakwell.</p>

Tickets, which are expected to sell out quickly, are on sale from the Marketing Department at Oakwell now, priced at just &pound;30 per person.</p>

I shall have to see how expenses go, as i have plenty to pay out for in the coming weeks.
