Haha - i offered to donate my unused vbulletin license in the past too! You should have gone with IPB! Looking forward to the switchover tho.
If Microsoft can get away with calling their latest OS Windows SEVEN . . . . . . then all versioning rules are out of the window, if you'll pardon the pun.
Bugger... I missed that (or forgot). Just shelled out 150 notes for a 4.0 licence. Does IPB do threaded views?
And a few others Apparently they consider several of the earlier versions to be builds of the same underlying OS. Which isn't how I remember them marketing it . . .
RE: And a few others Most of the current os comes from the NT code branch I think. NT 3, 3.51, 4, Windows 2000, XP, Vista
RE: Bugger... Yes IPB do. Take it you havent gone for the suite then that would have given you a CMS which you could use for articles etc?
I have... The CMS comes in version 4.0 which isn't out yet. Should be out by Christmas (or in beta in next few weeks). We will get all the new funcionality at this point. Meanwhile go live with 3.8
finally! about time you updated this thing may be able to help out with new functions and modules, etc
RE: I have... Oh yeah i know - i upgraded my license only cost me £70 although bit naughty what vbull have done to its customers recently tho. But i like to keep an eye on both IPB and vB but i only use IPB on a live board (the one in my sig)
