A hard fought draw in tricky conditions with the wind, mansfield earning a draw with the last kick of the game.

The goals for BBS scored by Spartacus with a back post header,Varley with a 20 yard belter into the roof of the net(after a bizzare own goal)and Josh after a mazey run.

Welldone to all who took part (y)

    Next up, Rovram.

    Yes, well said Bill.
Thanks to all who came and took part.
My MOTM vote goes to our goalie for some cracking saves.

I really enjoyed it and can't wait for next week.

    Supporters team

I dont know if Luton Town fans still have a team but our supporters club team used to play against the teams that the reds were playing on the day.

How come you lads dont do that? We had some cracking days out at places like Millwall, Charlton and Southend. Do those clubs have teams anymore?

Hard to get 13 to travel

We do play teams we are playing if possible as last week when we played Preston. Mostly we arrange games when we can against visiting teams or local teams.

    Rovrum next week.

RE: Hard to get 13 to travel

We used to fill a coach. We usually had a full team and subs and the "eleven Oclock club". They always watched the first 30 mins before sloping off and saving us some places in a nearby hostilry!

Stew and Cuz worked wonders with the organisation of the games when you think that we had no email or mobile phones to rely on. Happy days and I miss em like mad.

We had a good mixture. Most of us played Sunday football as well so were reasonably fit. Some said we were a bit rough but we just liked to win lol

No mate. out of all of the lads that go now theres only Cuz Bully and Keith that used to play. Nessy was always an eleven oclock member along with Thoz , Bill and a few more likely lads.

I dont travel as much as they do but from what I can see they have a lot of new faces from when we used to play footy together.

Heres a list of players that used to turn out regular

In goal Neil Bullivant or sometimes Matty Housley

Defenders from Stewart Wraith, Jeff Linacre, Steve Curry, Dale Zaslos, John Morley, Dave Coup

Midfielders from Keith Thrumble, Bri Curry, Alex Harvey (not the sensational) Chris Tarn, Dave Warmsley, Christian ? Vin Robinson

Strikers from Chris Hill, Matty Housley, Andy Wright, Gav Talbot

Sorry If Ive forgotten anybody but players came and went over the years and we must have gone through dozens.
