Admit that you dropped a big one and then drop another. HAYES!!!

Have you seen the goals that he has scored this season?

    Guest Guest

Yes I have and I've also seen the tripe that he's served up in between them.

Aye he scores what you would think were 'impossible' goals and then can't score into an open net from 3 feet!
    I don't rate him really.
How long do we have to wait for him to come good?
He's had more than enough time to settle.
He'll start again on Sat at Swindon and the same will happen again 20-30 chances and he and Richards will miss the lot
    Christ almighty!

Do you think that these "near impossible" goals are intended or do you think that they are absolute flukes?

Yeh, that'll do as we have loads of strikers to replace him !!!

    Lol!
I'm beginning to think they must be flukes.
How the hell, on our finances, did Ritchie contrive to waste £175.000 on Hayes?
I can't get my head round that!
I have seen him waste so many chances - MK Dons, Bradford one on one with the Keeper, Last week against Rotherham when he missed from 2 yards, Blackpool - the list goes on and on.
We can't afford to wait for him to come good - he's costing us 3 points most games.
Scunny must be laughing their socks off.

If thats a valid argument, doesn't it also apply to Richards then?

That makes about as much sense as getting rid of Hayes.

Hayes is the best striker we have at the club in my opinion.. This constant chelping about him isn't going to make his confidence any better.
Personally I think there have been games this season when Hayes and Richards have linked really well and i feel that they are the best partnership we have at the moment.

If Hayes/Ritchie et al have any sense

They'll ignore the mawngy hard of thinking knuckle heads that love having a pop.

So what's the solution then? Don't say sign another striker because we both know that it won't happen.

Why did he drop a "big one" ?

He signed a goal scorer that banged 20+ goals in for Scunny last season, maybe in a different league, but theres not much between league one and two these days. All the promoted clubs have proved that. Plus, iam sure everyone involved with the club were clapping there hands when he signed. What a difference 3/4 months make, and were in 6th place.

He's a good striker, surely watching him play you can see this, he links up well with our attacking play. Fair enough he had a stinker saturday and isn't hitting the net as much as he'd like/we'd like.

    FFS, were w*nk.
