If someone attends your address or an elderly relatives address, claiming you owe money for work carried out - DO NOT pay him anything unless you have arranged for work to be carried out. DO NOT let anyone into your house to use the bathroom or for a drink. No one should be attending your address without a prior appointment. If anyone does attend your home and you are unsure - DO NOT open the door to them and report it to the Police. We have had incidents of this nature at Windmill Road Wombwell, Barnsley Road Wombwell, Warner Avenue Pogmoor and Cumbrian Walk Pogmoor areas of Barnsley. Can't get my head round the lengths that some of the shysters out there will go to, to con law abiding citizens out of their hard earned brass. Offering injections to safeguard against Covid 5 and so called Pest control specialists who claim they have a spray that kills the virus. Absolute pondlife.
