Thoughts of PC handing over the baton to one of our sponsors. Quite sure we would be better off with PC, if indeed that is the suggested rumour.

The sponsors haven't got near enough money to take over, in fact - add all their finances together and they still haven't got enough.

Got enough for what exactly? What is it that costs us so much money? People keep mentioning it but all the comments from the club say the opposite

Why? As I keep saying the club claim we have one of the highest revenues in the league and we all know that our expenditure on stadium maintenance and improvements have been lower than our rivals so how are we needing millions pumped in? Where does the Hugh revenue disappear to?

Why do we need that though? In this league? I am genuinely baffled by our finances.

Did you have to Google her name or do you just know EVERYTHING about he past? You're the only person who knows what size boots our number 10 was wearing in a 1964 game away at Cheltenham. Your knowledge never ceases to amaze me

    Why do we need that?

The squad is full of loan players, kids, players signed after they'd been released from their previous clubs and players from the division below, Scotland or non-league.

The only exceptions to that are Nick Townsend, signed from Birmingham, but he came up through the youth system and never actually played for them, and he's still only 20; Alfie Mawson, signed from Brentford but he too came through their youth system and only ever made one sub appearance for them in the league cup, and he's only 21; Ryan Williams from Fulham , still only 21 and made just 2 full appearances and a sub appearance for Fulham; and Lewin Nyatanga, signed from League 1 Bristol City, played for us in The Championship, but has since signed a new contract.

We have one of the highest average attendances in the league, we're told the commercial and marketing department are doing very well these days, thank you very much, we have the youngest and most inexperienced squad in the entire football league, so why do we need £millions each year to keep us above water? Why do other clubs with much smaller attendances but much more experienced squads not require this money?

Thought this was going to be a mea culpa for those who hounded Danny out.

I'm of the same thoughts. But, doesn't the academy cost a fair chunk every year? Maybe that's where Mr Cryne's money is going? And, it's starting to pay us back (Holgate, Stones). Unfortunately, there doesn't seem any new uns coming through this season. And only Smith of the last crop gets games regularly now. We're too busy loaning other clubs' kids.
